Off-Campus Engineering Overview

Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering at San Jose State University often referred to as “the engine that drives Silicon Valley,” is keenly aware of the importance in continuing education among engineering and technical managers.  In order to meet this need our Graduate and Extended Studies office has been offering Off-campus, advanced degree programs since 1996. They are designed for working professionals and available at various sites in Silicon Valley, including the Lucas Business Complex on Bunker Hill Lane just off Great America Parkway, KLA-Tencor, Lam Research, and Lockheed Martin among others.

We are proud to offer graduate degrees in MS Engineering (MSE), MS Software Engineering (MSSE), MS Electrical Engineering (MSEE), MS Computer Engineering (MSCMPE), and Dual Degree MBA/MSE/MSEE. Our degrees emphasize the following topics: Cloud Computing, Embedded Systems, Clean Technology, Multicore Processing, Wireless Telecommunications, Battery Technology, and more.

Students can earn an MS degree or a Certificate with a specialized emphasis.

Students can earn two master’s degrees on an accelerated schedule.
