Graduate & Extended Studies

Often referred to as, “the engine that drives Silicon Valley,” SJSU’s Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering is keenly aware of the importance in continuing education among engineering and technical managers.  In order to meet this need, the college’s Graduate and Extended Studies office has been offering off-campus, advanced degree programs since 1996.

Designed for working professionals, the College of Engineering has more than 300 students enrolled at various sites in Silicon Valley, including the Network Meeting Center at TechMart, Applied Materials, BAE Systems, IBM, KLA-Tencor, Lam Research, and Lockheed Martin.

Offering a wide variety of studies, such as cloud computing, embedded systems, clean technology, and green construction, SJSU has developed educational tracks for engineers working in a range of professional fields.
